Activities designed for the Reproduction cluster of grade 9 science.
Reproduction Arts-Based Project
In this project, students create a fractured fairy tale about human fertilization. Students must counter gender stereotypes and defy the traditional fertilization narrative by adapting a fairy tale. Students complete a rough draft that they will use for peer- and self- assessment, thus creating space for assessment as learning in the classroom.

Reproduction Learning Design
A plan for teaching the Reproduction cluster of Grade 9 science. It includes lesson plans, activities, assessments, and resources that can be used in the classroom. This plan was implemented in Fall 2021 at Murdoch MacKay Collegiate.
